Description Of Suspect Released After Painted Noose Found In Westchester

A description has been released of a suspect after a noose painted on a roadway in Northern Westchester was discovered.

The New Castle Police Department said its investigation has determined the blue line was intentionally painted on Cross Ridge Road on Saturday, Aug. 8 at about midnight. 

The suspect is described as a chubby white man in his late 30s or early 40s, with straight brown hair, and wearing a polo shirt and shorts.

The investigation is active and ongoing.
